Tsarina collection is inspired by ‘Catherine The Great’ and the Russian monarchy but with a louche, luxe Seventies vibe. Loosely cut rich velvets, shimmering lamé prints, liquid like metallic outerwear and subtle masculine pin-stripes combine to create a laid-back, thoroughly modern glamour.

Last Friday 12.5. Alicia Silverstone wore our Venus dress on the red carpet for the premiere of her new film ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul’ in Indianapolis.
The Hollywood star looked stunning in one of the most popular pieces from our SS17 collection. The Venus dress is cut from weightless crepon silk-chiffon and printed with the abstract orgy design. The 1930s style bias cut silhouette and the ruffled neckline add further charm to this head-turning gown.
You can buy the Venus dress here on our website:
Louisa Johnson, the youngest ever winner of The X Factor, wore Alexandra Long for her performance in Manchester last Wednesday.
She looked beautiful in our Palazzo style gold Pandora trousers and circus print Ekaterina top. Her glamorous outfit made sure she shone on stage and looked very much on trend in our metallics and prints.
As the cherry blossom in London starts to fall, the arrival of our Fortuna kimono jacket and Dione trousers could not have been better timed. However, the innocence of spring isn’t something you’ll find with these somewhat naughty pieces. In fact, they’re anything but…
This spectacular silk set pays homage to the beauty and refinement of geishas. Its sensual Japanese print may feature blossoming flowers, but also blossoming women. Hand drawn by Alexandra herself, you’ll discover naked silhouettes and erotic scenes, immediately denying the innocence it portrays at first glance.
This provocative design is crafted from pure silk, woven at Vanners mill in Suffolk – the county where Alexandra grew up. Thanks to the erotic nature of the print and richness of the fabric the pieces are goddess-like and stunning when worn together, as demonstrated by Johanna, on a recent shoot in the luscious gardens of Regent’s Park.
Both pieces stand on their own too, and the Fortuna can be worn in various ways thanks to cleverly-hidden straps. This gives it a transformative quality offering excitement, diversity and longevity.
Whether worn together or separately, these sensual pieces nod to spring with true Alexandra Long elegance and are best accompanied by nothing more than knowing look.

Tara, one of our girls, was born and raised between London and New York and she is currently studying acting and film outside the latter. She describes herself as “a constant performer in all aspects of life, in a perpetual state of nostalgia for eras she has never experienced.” When we met Tara we felt inspired by her talent, and decided to get her along to represent the brand together with a few other girls we’ll be introducing over time.
Tara is wearing the printed Gaia suit, white Hera dress and white Pandora trousers.

We had the pleasure to have sisters Kelly and Maude over for a shoot in our showroom during Paris Fashion Week.
Born and raised in Antwerp, they grew up in a fashion-related environment and both ended up studying fashion in Paris. Now Kelly has a preloved fashion store in Antwerp, and Maude is working as a freelance stylist in London. We asked them to pick their favorite pieces from our collection, and they both went for the suits. Kelly is wearing the printed Gaia suit and Maude the off-white Sibyl suit.

“The Passage comes from the idea of moving through a narrow environment allowing us to get a certain perspective of place and space. The action of moving through or past somewhere to give us a different view on the image and clothing”
Photographer Maxwell Aurelien known for shooting timeless portraits came to our showroom in Paris and shot the stunning journalist/stylist Suzanna Ge in our new AW17 pieces.
